2005 Falcon Ridge Lodi Zinfandel

Just tasted this zinfandel from the bottom shelf at Trader Joe's. "Dried Fig" was the main note of the nose and palette on first pour. These fruits lingered through the last pour as well. The dried fruit notes and 14.3% alcohol content might imply a big bodied wine, but the 2005 Falcon Ridge is relatively lightweight and balanced.
