Blert put a new song onto Bandcamp today. CTRL-Z is something we started working on back in '01 or '02. We recorded the instrumental tracks in our space at Rocker rehearsal studio (Dore Alley). Tasha & Neal recorded the vocal tracks in Neal's bedroom in Portland a couple weeks ago (yeah, 2020).That's not what I wanted That's not how I want it to go Hey can we Reset the button Pretend that it wasn't so And make like a different Option is selected Take on a new life That isn't so expected
That's not what I wanted That's not how I want it to go Hey can I Reset the button Pretend that this it isn't so And make like a different Option is selected Walk down a new road That doesn't seem perfected Go down another path That's not So perplexing So contrived So destructive So not I
This is not what I wanted This is not how I want it to go Hey can we Reset the buttons Live again like it wasn't so And make like a different Option was selected Take on another choice That wasn't so invested Go for the life I imagined
So creative So alive So playful So sublime So elated So divine So translative
So not I That's not how I want it to go Control-Z Live again like it wasn't so Control-Z This is not how I want it to go Control-Z Go back a few steps ago
Because It doesn't look so fine It doesn't seem so grand It doesn't feel like mine
Go listen
